Each year the organizers of Charlotte Black Gay Pride strive to present and reinforce a theme relevant to the goals of our organization and the needs of the LGBT community.
Our 2010 theme is Engage, Enlighten & Empower.
We've chosen this theme because we believe these are the necessary ingredients toward progression. We encourage you to become ENGAGED in networking as we strive to do in 2010. Seize every opportunity to, ENLIGHTEN those you come in contact with. Keeping our community updated with LGBT issues. Lastly, this course of action becomes Power.
Simply stated, as we commit ourselves to diligently working together towards these goals in 2010, we will all become EMPOWERED.
