Meet the Board Members
TL Stewart, a native of Washington, DC has resided in Charlotte for the past 15 years. He is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University with a BA in History and a Masters in Public Administration from UNC Charlotte. TL currently serves as the Chair for CBGP. He is a dynamic task master who is dedicated to getting things done correctly and within a timely manner. TL is also an AFFA Certified Group Exercise (Aerobics) Instructor and is considered one of the best in Charlotte.

Jahaan Norvell, was born in Chicago, Illinois, raised in Columbus, Ohio and relocated to Charlotte in 1998. Jahaan is currently the Co-Chair and Treasurer for CBGP. She has a BA in Professional Accounting with over 12 years of professional accounting experience. She has served CBGP as the business and finance director as well as the expo coordinator since 2007. Her goal is to unite the community via the repair of past relationships that have hindered the growth of CBGP.

Helping Hands
The board certainly recognizes when others lend a helping hand to achieve a common goal. Our Executive Assistant LMonique has been a tremendous support with much of our 'behind the scenes' work such as assisting with website design.
